Sapienza Consulting has received the ISO 27001:2013 Information Security Management Standard certification for the offices in Noordwijk, the Netherlands, and Bramley, the UK. After successfully passing two assessment stages, the British Standard Institute (BSI) has determined that Sapienza meets the specific requirements and on 14 April 2019 the company was granted the certification.
The BSI’s auditor complimented Sapienza on the maturity of its Information Security Management System and said that the company stands three years ahead of other firms implementing this international standard.
Stage 1 of the assessment was passed in December 2018, after which the auditor placed Sapienza among the top 2% of companies implementing ISO 27001. Stage 2 was completed in Noordwijk after a two-day assessment on 27 and 28 February 2019, and in Bramley following a one-day assessment on 6 March 2019. After both audits Sapienza was recommended for certification.
Both Sapienza Consulting BV and Ltd now hold the certificate number IS 673256, effective from 14 April 2019 to 13 April 2022 for the following scope:

ISO/IEC 27001:2013 is an international information security standard granted to companies that comply with a specific set of requirements regarding the operation of its Information Security Management System (ISMS). To receive the certification, the auditors perform an in-depth analysis of the company’s policies and procedures. The certificate enables compliance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (DGPR).
