02/12/2019 – Noordwijk – The Netherlands
The event is part of the only and largest international Project Controls conference held annually in three different locations (Australia and Malaysia being the other two) and is dedicated to the advancement of Project Controls throughout a broad range of industries, including —but not limited to—Aerospace, Defence, Government, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, and Pharmaceutical.
Many companies attending presented their software applications, with particular focus on cost and schedule planning, as well as risk management, themes that seem to be consistently important across all different sectors. Another topic that was highlighted is the challenge of exchanging data sets (between, for example, suppliers and customers) in the absence of common interfaces across the plethora of control tools available on the market.
As an organisation with decades-long experience in space project and mission management, we were very glad to bring a valuable and unique approach to the table. More specifically, presenting our ECLIPSE Software Suite generated a lot of interest across the different industries, a fact that also points towards the potential for ECLIPSE to be utilised further beyond the space sector.
ECLIPSE’s integrative approach bridges a lot of the gaps that are commonly encountered within Project Controls; with the ones mentioned above being a few. By offering a broad scale of modules, ECLIPSE is serving several needs, covering areas such as database application building (DAB module), risk management (eRISK module), as well as project control and management (PCM module).
Apart from introducing our offerings to the different organisations and stakeholders present at the event, our attendance provided us with the unique opportunity to gain knowledge and ideas that could be of great utility in developing our ECLIPSE Project Control Module (PCM) further.

Andrew had to say about the expo:
It was a great event that provided valuable insights towards the common and industry-specific project control challenges faced across the different organisations. We were glad to be in the heart of the latest advancements in the field and amongst professionals coming from such a diverse range of backgrounds. We are very happy to have reached out and connected with multiple potential partners and are confidently looking forward to building upon those initial connections in the future.
