Vacancy Inventory Clerk

Sapienza is recruiting an Inventory Clerk to work with NCIA in The Hague. The Inventory Clerk provides the team with a full range of supply administration services.

Responsibilities of the Inventory Clerk

  • Perform Supply functions including shipping/receiving, quality checking, issuing
  • Be familiar with the maintenance of Supply files regarding procurements, quotations, requisitions, orders and payments
  • Maintain and control the voucher filing system in Supply
  • Research and add vendors to the Agency database
  • Prepare and process equipment transfer orders
  • Prepare customs documents for inbound and outbound shipments of the NCI Agency material
  • Preparation and processing of materiel for report of survey/write off
  • Moreover the assistant will use existing sources and under his/her own initiative gather necessary
  • Assist with inventory of expendable and stock items
  • Assist with yearly inventory of non-expendable items

Profile of the Inventory Clerk

  • 3 years of relevant supply experience including practical experience with automated supply and accounting systems
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization, including ACO and ACT would be desirable
  • Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements would be desirable
  • Current NATO/National security clearance
  • Highly developed sense of responsibility and ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Clarity, accuracy, flexibility, and teamwork competencies
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Fluent in English
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU
