Delivery of ISECG Website for ESA
Sapienza recently delivered a new website to the ESA Directorate of Human Spaceflight for the ISECG (International Space Exploration Coordination Group). The website was deployed on the Liferay platform using our fast turnout AGILE development process to meet with the short delivery timescale.
For the ISECG, the initial delivery consists of a public website that raises the profile of the group and provides a stepping stone to future collaborative activities. This will involve the deployment, through Liferay, of a networked environments that will allow the 50+ to access a document library, wiki, shared calendars, news features and blogs.
The ISECG is a voluntary, non-binding international coordination mechanism through which individual agencies may exchange information regarding interests, objectives, and plans in space exploration with the goal of strengthening both individual exploration programs as well as the collective effort. The website will play a key role in that tasks by allowing the placement of key reference materials in a single place.
