Review Item Discrepancy
The Review Item Discrepancy (RID) system is a web-based collaborative tool that enables the design of a system to be evaluated against the system requirements during the development of large aerospace projects. These formal reviews occur at different phases of the project as early as the feasibility study, through the design phase, and finishing with the acceptance or verification phase.
Documents and their baselines can be uploaded and submitted for review to either individuals or panels, discrepancies can be created against the individual documents and managed until a resolution is achieved and the individual RID is closed. The system allows actions related to RID's to be easily monitored and tracked. The tool is integrated with a Document Configuration and Control Management (DCCM) to facilitate the management of technical document datapacks.
