Sapienza Collaborates with the University of Montpellier
05 / 04 / 2017
Sapienza is pleased to announce its most recent and exciting collaboration with the University of Montpellier (France). As part of this initiative the University Space Centre CubeSat project is now benefiting from using the ECLIPSE Software Suite.
The University CubeSat project participates in the ESA “Fly Your Satellite” competition. The students and their supervisors are using ECLIPSE to manage the CubeSat design and development activities for the competition. As part of the collaboration Sapienza delivered an on-site workshop to train students and university staff involved on how to best use the ECLIPSE Software Suite for project success.
Prof. Laurent DUSSEAU, Director of the University Space Centre at the University of Montpellier said:
“ECLIPSE is the tool we have been seeking for a long time. It has all the functionality we need and the ease of use required in the day-to-day operations of University Space Centres like ours.”
Sapienza is actively seeking more Universities taking part in CubeSat projects to use the ECLIPSE software. If you are involved in a project and would like to learn more, do not hesitate to contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
