Sapienza at the 9th European CubeSat Symposium in Belgium

On Wednesday, 29 November 2017, Ross Irvine and Dennis Roshal represented Sapienza at the 9th European CubeSat Symposium in O╬┐stend, Belgium.

At the Symposium, organised by von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics, a variety of Universities, commercial companies and space organisations were present to talk about recent innovations in the CubeSat world. The agenda also included Workshops to discuss the common problems faced by CubeSat projects.

Dennis and Ross gave an introduction to the benefits of the ECLIPSE Software Suite, tailored for CubeSat projects and addressing many of the issues brought up during the event. Our Consultants enjoyed the possibilities for networking and the rewarding conversations with academia.

Ross and Dennis stated:

During the Symposium the need for a powerful Project Management tool designed for CubeSat projects was emphasised time and time again. We were glad to see the interest in the ECLIPSE Software Suite for this purpose. We are convinced that the ECLIPSE Suite is what the CubeSat community needs to fill in the gaps that traditional tools fail to accomplish.

Sapienza is actively seeking more Universities and Academic Institutions taking part in CubeSat projects to use the ECLIPSE Software. If you are involved in a project and would like to learn more, contact us by email at
