OHB System AG Bremen needed a toolset in support to their project activities for the ESA (European Space Agency) key projects being (Galileo, MTG, EDRS), National space programmes as well as Defence projects. The system needed to allow close collaboration with the supply chain with their prominence as Prime contractor in recent years. The system also needed to be flexible to allow for the rapid growth of the company.

The implementation of the ECLIPSE suite at OHB-System AG is enabling several projects, including the Galileo FOC team, to better manage their Product Assurance/Quality Assurance/Project Management/Configuration Management processes. The integrated design of the ECLIPSE platform also provides OHB System AG with a secure, web-based, collaborative and process-driven environment that they use to share with partners, suppliers and clients according to the well defined security policies.
